Day 2

Bring in the reinforcements.

We returned the next day with a crew of people we met at a cabin we stopped at to warm my soaked leg and foot the night before. We came back with rope, come-alongs, waders, rubber gloves, an ice chisel and wood for ramps. On arrival the snowmachine was frozen into the creek and had to be chipped free. There was a suggestion to turn it upside down to pull it out more easily but I insisted in climbing down into the water and making a ramp for the skis to come out on.
